Greyling Pictures asked for a visuals set for a festival main stage that could survive a set list changing on the day, which ruled out a pre-rendered timeline. We built the show in a real-time engine driven by MIDI clock from the front-of-house desk, with each scene mapped to a section trigger rather than a fixed timecode, so the visual director could reorder or extend songs live without the visuals falling out of sync.

Every scene was also calibrated to the venue’s specific LED wall pixel pitch during the technical rehearsal, because content built at the wrong native resolution moirés on a coarse-pitch wall in a way that never shows up on a studio monitor.
